Montrose has been in operation for more than 50 years, and has been a CMHC Approved Lender since 1970.

Montrose was established nearly 60 years ago in Winnipeg, Manitoba. At its inception Montrose provided loan servicing, administrative, and origination functions. In 1970 Montrose obtained CMHC Approved Lender status and established several regional origination offices across Canada – the first of these being Montrose Winnipeg.

For more than 50 years Montrose Winnipeg has delivered commercial real estate and finance expertise to our market, and take a great deal of pride in the reputation we have fostered throughout our history.

Today, Montrose administers over $2 billion in loans on behalf of Canadian life insurance companies, Canadian and foreign banks, Credit Unions, trusts, CMBS issuers, pension funds, and private investors, located across Canada and the United States.
